Meet John Fischer
John Fischer has been at the forefront of contemporary Christian music and thought for more than four decades.  He is a sought-after speaker and performer at conferences, colleges and other venues throughout the country.  He is an artist driven by the desire to use his creative talents to stir people to a new understanding of their faith and how to live it out in their culture.    

John has recorded 12 albums, the last entitled Some Folks’ World.  He is the author of numerous published books, including Finding God Where You Least Expect Him, Fearless Faith: Living Beyond the Walls of Safe Christianity, Real Christians Don’t Dance, and Making Real What I Already Believe. His fiction works include, Dark Horse, Saint Ben, The Saint’s and Angel’s Song, and Ashes on the Wind.  John’s articles have appeared in numerous national Christian periodicals including Moody, Discipleship Journal, Christianity Today and Relevant Magazine.

For the last number of years, John has headed up The Catch Ministry, an internet-based ministry which serves up a daily blog (called “The Catch”), hosts a weekly blogtalk radio show on which John interviews fascinating people, including well-known Christian personalities and many others, and which ministers personally to thousands all over the world via counseling and prayer.  You can get a glimpse of John and this ministry by going to www.fischtank.com and poking around the sight.
